Ansvarsområden
- Repair metal stamping dies including sharpening, cleaning, and refurbishing.
- Repair and maintain tube mill cut off dies.
- Work with press/mill operators to remedy part quality issues.
- Support the maintenance department with machining needs and projects.
- Machine die components and other plant-needed components using mills, lathes, surface grinders, and CNC equipment.
- Set up and tear down roll form tooling.
- Clean and polish roll form tooling.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Krav
- High School Diploma, Tech School, or Formal Apprenticeship/Journeyman.
- 5 or more years of experience making or maintaining metal stamping dies.
- Experience with roll form tooling and processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues in the press or on roll forming mills.
- 5 or more years of manual machining experience with knee mills, toolroom lathes, bandsaws, surface grinders.
- Experience running and programming CNC lathes and mills using conversational programming.
- Ability to program a wire EDM machine with MasterCam.
- Experience welding tool steel and other ferrous metals.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Formal Apprenticeship/Journeyman is a plus.
Förmåner
- 1st shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:00 pm.
- Overtime as required.
