Volvo CE is seeking Master's students for a thesis project focused on shaping the future of production planning through digitalization and AI. The project aims to explore how these technologies can optimize decision-making, reduce manual work, and improve proactive planning, offering a unique opportunity to influence sustainable transport solutions.

Ansvarsområden

Map the current production planning process, challenges, and decision points.
Identify activities for digitalization and AI support, simplification, or automation.
Explore AI's role in scenario analysis, risk identification, and decision-making.
Define the future role and way of working for production planners.
Identify the gap between current and future states.
Develop an A3 describing the future state, gaps, improvements, and actions.
Provide recommendations and a roadmap for the future production planning process.

Interest in the intersection of production, people, processes, data, and emerging technologies

Önskade kvalifikationer

Master's thesis level (30 credits)
Thesis conducted in English
On-site preferred at Volvo CE Eskilstuna
