I korthet

We are seeking a Test Engineering intern to assist with the design of automated test systems. Responsibilities include designing PCBs, developing production test code, qualifying instruments, and analyzing test data. A BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required.

Ansvarsområden

  • Designing or revising custom printed circuit boards to be used in a test fixture
  • Developing production test code for the next generation of NI products
  • Qualifying instruments for use in a Test application to be deployed to Manufacturing
  • Analyzing production test data to look for trends which indicate the health of the product and/or test solution

Krav

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Prior Emerson Intern/Co-op Experience
  • understanding of High-level programming languages (e.g. LabVIEW, TestStand, Python)
  • understanding of Analog signal considerations
  • understanding of Sources of measurement error
  • understanding of Appropriate selection of instrumentation
  • understanding of Statistical analysis of data
  • understanding of Integration of hardware and software
  • Hands-on experience with electronic hardware
  • Experience with high frequency circuit design, RF and wireless communication is highly desirable
