Quincy Compressor seeks a Technical Support Specialist in Bay Minette, AL to provide expertise on rotary and reciprocating products. Responsibilities include supporting field technicians and distributors, managing a remote monitoring platform, and performing air audits. Requires a High School Degree, with engineering experience preferred.

Ansvarsområden

  • Assist customers with technical information for Quincy rotary and reciprocating products.
  • Update knowledge of new products, product modifications, and warranty policies.
  • Maintain current product documentation for the Technical Service Department.
  • Provide daily reports of field problems reported via phone and email.
  • Train Service Technicians and distributors on product service and repair.
  • Administer the remote monitoring platform (ICONS).
  • Accompany service technicians to customer sites to perform air audits.
  • Compile data and construct reports in a timely manner.
  • Handle Industrial Air Piping design and modifications.
  • Perform Quality Air Auditing and Compressor Power Consumption Audits.
  • Troubleshoot networking and connectivity of compressed air equipment.

Krav

  • High School Degree required.
  • 2 years’ experience in a relevant role (preferred).
  • Knowledge of compressed air products and services.
  • Technical expertise.
  • Excellent phone skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • CAD experience (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to move about the facility and customer sites.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 40% may be required).
