ABB is seeking a Technical Service Specialist for Gearless Mill Drives in Baden, Switzerland. This full-time hybrid role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting, and on-site services for industrial clients. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering with experience in power electronics is required.

Ansvarsområden

  • Provide technical support and solve problems via remote or on-site service, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, back-office engineering, and consulting.
  • Investigate customer needs through professional consulting and manage customer relationships.
  • Act as a 24/7 support line for one complete week approximately every two months.
  • Proactively suggest product and quality improvements to the ABB organization.
  • Provide technical consulting on Service solutions to management and customers.

Krav

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an electrical engineer, product specialist, or in a similar technical role, preferably within the power electronics sector.
  • Collaborative, solution-focused approach with effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration across departments and with customers.
  • Attention to detail for product conformity, accurate technical documentation, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Fluency in English.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Proficiency in other languages such as Spanish is a plus.
