I korthet

Seco is seeking a Technical Manager in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, to lead technical support and develop customer-focused solutions in the metal cutting tools industry. This role involves analyzing customer needs, resolving machining issues, conducting application testing, and providing training, reporting to the Sales Manager.

Ansvarsområden

  • Provide timely technical support and solutions to product-related inquiries.
  • Analyze customer technical requirements and recommend tailored machining solutions.
  • Resolve complex machining issues and offer practical technical advice.
  • Conduct trials and testing for new and existing products on customer applications.
  • Provide feedback on technical aspects of tools and systems for product improvement.
  • Manage cost-saving initiatives and tool management programs.
  • Facilitate technical workshops, seminars, and training sessions.

Krav

  • 5–8 years of experience in the metal cutting tools or CNC machining industry.
  • Proven track record in production engineering or machining operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CNC programming and modern machining technologies.
  • Familiarity with tooling systems for aerospace, automotive, or general engineering industries is a plus.
  • Understanding of CAD/CAM software and basic GD&T.
  • Experience in conducting technical consultations and resolving customer challenges.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in managing technical projects.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and data-driven process improvements.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and related technical tools.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • A proactive and customer-centric mindset.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in the Aerospace manufacturing industry or Component Engineered Tooling (CET) projects is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with cost-reduction initiatives and tool lifecycle management programs.
