Amazon is seeking an experienced Team Manager for its RBKS AI Data team in Hyderabad. This role focuses on managing 20-25 ML Data Associates, ensuring quality ML data workflows, analyzing data and metrics, and driving process improvements. Ansvarsområden

  • Manages a team of 20-25 ML Data Associates.
  • Executes plans for ML data workflows, ensuring quality compliance.
  • Analyzes ML data, SIM issues, and metrics, highlighting trends and gaps.
  • Identifies risks and ensures escalations are handled appropriately.
  • Responsible for meeting SLAs and task completion targets.
  • Works with internal/external teams to achieve business goals.
  • Uses data to set operational goals and manage activities.
  • Manages escalations and complex tickets, presenting key metrics.
  • Designs and implements process improvement projects.
  • Coaches direct reports on leadership principles and career development.
  • Assigns challenging work to develop employees for future roles.
  • Provides guidance on work prioritization and task management.
  • Implements performance improvement plans and conducts regular coaching.
  • Manages team performance based on metrics, including hiring and firing decisions.
  • Holds team members accountable for performance and adherence to guidelines.
  • Leads annotation efforts in India and partners with the Operations Manager.
  • Becomes an expert in annotation processes, training and supporting the team.
  • Maintains accuracy and throughput standards for annotations.
  • Understands key annotation requirements and trains associates.
  • Conducts feedback sessions with research team members on ML model KPIs.
  • Proposes scalable solutions to improve annotation efficiency.

Krav

  • BE, BSC, B tech, Mtech, Msc, IT, ECE, ELECTRICAL ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING degree or equivalent experience.
  • Industry experience of 5 to 7 years.
  • At least 1 to 2 years in a team lead/people management role.
  • A graduate in any field of study (quantitative fields preferred).
  • Good familiarity with the Windows desktop environment.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, IE, Firefox.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
