Amazon is looking for a Team Lead for its AMZL transportation team in Kolkata, West Bengal. This role involves managing daily shift operations, supporting the DC manager with performance management, and driving operational plans within a delivery center. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing, with strong execution and people management skills.

Ansvarsområden

Manage, on a daily basis, end-to-end operations for either one large site or a combination of small sites.
Execute inbound and outbound operations.
Meet customer-facing metrics while maintaining cost targets and upholding safety and morale of the team.
Drive performance management of team members.
Prepare and implement training and development plans for associates.
Continuously improve the delivery process and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvement.
Conduct 4M and 5S audits for the delivery station on a daily basis.
Stand-in for Area Manager.
Manage day and night shifts.
Focus on high bias for action during station operation.
Be customer obsessed in terms of handling customer escalation & ensuring good delivery experience.
Manage large yellow/green badge AA (Amazon Associates).

Krav

A graduate with 1-3 yrs of experience in a customer facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing.
Strong execution skills, action oriented, go getter.
Resourceful to identify the way to get things done using limited resources.
Ability to work under pressure situations.
Ability to work in ambiguous situations and to come out with solutions as per the situations faced.
Good people management skills.
Comfortable with reading, writing and communicating in English.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
