Ansvarsområden

  • Build Amazon's business critical financial systems and operate at scale.
  • Discover innovative ways to automate and scale infrastructure globally.
  • Contribute to critical initiatives, build products, troubleshoot, debug, and evaluate alarms.
  • Make feature enhancements, manage systems, perform software deployments, and automate operational tasks.
  • Develop tools and end-to-end automation for human-free operations.
  • Participate in the architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of large-scale software systems.
  • Communicate ideas effectively and collaborate with others.
  • Impact technical decisions in the broader organization and mentor other engineers.

Krav

  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language (Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust).
  • Experience with Linux/Unix.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in Systems/Software development and infrastructure.
  • 1+ years building solutions to improve availability and scalability of enterprise implementations.
  • In-depth knowledge of operating Windows, Linux, or other UNIX variants in a datacenter environment or AWS cloud.
  • Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Strong system troubleshooting skills and ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
  • 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
  • 1+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience.
  • Excellent leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
