Responsibilities
- Build Amazon's business critical financial systems and operate at scale.

- Develop tools and end-to-end automation for human-free operations.
- Participate in the architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of large-scale software systems.
- Communicate ideas effectively and collaborate with others.
- Impact technical decisions in the broader organization and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language (Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust).
- Experience with Linux/Unix.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in Systems/Software development and infrastructure.
- 1+ years building solutions to improve availability and scalability of enterprise implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of operating Windows, Linux, or other UNIX variants in a datacenter environment or AWS cloud.
- Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
- Strong system troubleshooting skills and ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
- 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
- 1+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience.
- Excellent leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
