Qualcomm is looking for a Support Engineer to join their Emulation Team in San Diego. This role involves daily support of custom hardware/server configurations, troubleshooting issues, and component replacement. The ideal candidate will be familiar with common PC components and basic schematics, and able to assist in hardware debug activities.

Ansvarsområden

  • Daily support of custom hardware/server configuration.
  • Interfacing with the larger SVE team to triage and resolve issues.
  • Removal and replacement of specific hardware components.
  • Working from a ticket queue.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of Support Engineering or related work experience.
  • Associate's degree and 2+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience.
  • Familiarity with common PC components (PCIe, USB, CPU, GPU) and their interconnections.
  • Ability to read basic schematics.
  • Ability to assist in hardware debug activities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year of work experience (Master’s = one year).
