Ansvarsområden
- Release planned orders, schedules, and forecasts to suppliers for component requirements.
- Hold suppliers accountable to shipping requirements and manage supplier relationships.
- Develop recovery plans as needed for suppliers.
- Work closely with customer planners to ensure product availability.
- Monitor and oversee inventory systems.
- Manage inbound logistics and expedite shipments as needed.
- Assist the receiving team to resolve issues with inbound freight.
- Set lead times and inventory targets based on demand, logistics patterns, and risk.
- Maximize shipment efficiencies.
- Resolve issues between shipping locations, carriers, receiving departments, inventory analysts, and buyers.
- Act as a liaison between suppliers, production, purchasing, and carriers.
- Advise on trends and/or shifts in demand impacting service levels.
- Respond to critical logistics issues, potentially during off-hours.
