Responsibilities include supplier identification, negotiation, E-Sourcing, and quality management. Ansvarsområden

Enhance supply chain efficiency by managing New Product development, supplier delivery, quality, lead times, and payment terms.
Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and select suppliers for various commodities to ensure best quality, cost, and delivery.
Conduct E-Sourcing events and make decisions based on price, supplier capabilities, and performance.
Analyze parts to identify opportunities for localization and dual sourcing to save costs.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Supplier Quality Engineering to improve supplier performance.
Support CAPEX-related project negotiations with suppliers.
Drive on-time delivery, reduce lead times, manage costs, and improve total cost of ownership.
Conduct supplier quality management system approval audits and work with suppliers to improve processes.
Set Quality targets, monitor, and analyze supplier performance metrics for continuous improvement.
Support new product launches and risk mitigation projects to ensure supplier quality standards.
Take immediate action on supplier-related problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with other work groups and suppliers on inspection methods/issues.
Ensure guaranteed quality and short lead times for source changes, product transfers, and new product implementation.
Perform Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to qualify parts.
Collaborate on Supplier Performance Business Reviews.
Build suppliers’ understanding of technical and performance requirements.
Influence design engineers to optimize for Design for Sourcing & Manufacturability.
Coordinate between suppliers and internal functions in new product development.
Prepare Technical Sourcing Review (TSR) for new part development.
Travel within India and stationed near suppliers for extended periods.

Krav

Minimum of 5+ years in New Vendor Development in Pressure Die Casting along with maintaining supplier quality and performance management.
Excellent computer skills and technical aptitude, including strong data gathering, interpretation, and reporting skills for supply chain organization.
Sound communication skills to deal with suppliers (domestic and global).
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with expertise in understanding products and measuring equipment like CMM, VMM, and Projector.

Önskade kvalifikationer

B.E/B Tech in Mechanical or any Equivalent degree
Knowledge in Quality standards, and other manufacturing processes
Ability to manage all inspection equipment and demonstrate to suppliers to align testing requirements.
