Seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Chihuahua, Mexico to establish and qualify new suppliers and components. Responsibilities include conducting supplier audits, creating qualification plans, managing supplier quality issues, and championing problem-solving activities.

Ansvarsområden

Establish new suppliers and qualify components for production.
Represent Supplier Quality Engineering on New Product Development teams.
Perform audits of suppliers’ quality management systems and processes.
Create qualification plans and verify Production Part Approval Process deliverables.
Participate in stage gate development process to qualify suppliers or components.
Monitor and manage the quality of purchased components.
Respond to supplier quality issues and lead disposition of supplier non-conformances and actions identified on each instance thru the Andon process.
Champion problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers thru Supplier Corrective Action Requests to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances.
Develop receiving inspection plans and verification methods.
Control and maintain minimum inventory levels of discrepant material at MRB (Material Review Board).
Manage and dispose supplier non-conformances in a timely manner.

Krav

Experience with supplier quality engineering
Familiarity with quality management systems and processes
Experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
Proficiency in problem-solving and root cause analysis
Experience with Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR)
Ability to develop receiving inspection plans
