As a Staff Wireless Systems Engineer at Qualcomm, you will design, implement, and validate cutting-edge cellular technologies, including air interfaces and modems. Ansvarsområden

Leverages advanced knowledge of cellular technologies to research, design, standardize, implement, optimize, verify, validate, and commercialize Wireless WAN (or cellular) air interfaces, modem technologies, and related core network.
Designs, optimizes, and implements critical wireless systems and modems.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop high quality and high capability air interface and modems with high performance (e.g., capacity, coverage, throughput, latency, power consumption) and acceptable cost.
Develops, reviews, and/or verifies models, code, tests and/or simulations.
Executes the integration of architecture and systems into a standard, chipset, platform, or product.
Writes detailed technical documentation (e.g., feature, component, and design descriptions) for complex projects.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 4+ years of Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 3+ years of Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
5+ years of experience with programming (e.g., C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems.
1+ year in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
1+ year of applicable wireless, semiconductor and/or embedded software industry experience.
