Tetra Pak's Ice Cream Business Stream is seeking a Sr. Automation Engineer in Chakan, Pune, India. This role involves the design, development, maintenance, and support of automation solutions for customer orders, including sales support, programming, testing, and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in automation design and a bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering.

Ansvarsområden

Perform automation design in customer orders throughout the order process.
Develop, maintain, and support automation soft- and hardware.
Participate in all project steps: sales support, design, programming, simulation test, workshop test, and commissioning support.
Work on Automation Upgrade Orders.
Utilize Tetra Pak common automation platforms for uniform structure and support to the Field Service team.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
7-10 years of working experience with automation design.
Proficient using MS Office software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Must be able to work effectively across diverse time zones (IST, CET, EST).

Önskade kvalifikationer

Role involves domestic and international travel, averaging up to 30 days annually.
Understanding of general principles of food product processing and packaging.
Knowledge of main equipment, composition, quality aspects, and hygienic requirements for equipment, facilities, and operators.
Good knowledge and experience of engineering practices, including plants, process lines, applications, and technology for Production Solutions design.
Knowledge and understanding of engineering practices for food processing machinery design, including applied food processing technology, hygienic design, general machine design, testing methods, and manufacturing techniques.
