As a Software Engineer II in Ada Engineering, you will design, implement, test, deploy, and operate production software. You will collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to technical designs, and improve service reliability. This role offers opportunities to deepen distributed-systems expertise and work with large-scale AI infrastructure.

Ansvarsområden

Determine user and system requirements for features.
Contribute to identifying dependencies and developing design documents with minimal oversight.
Create, implement, test, debug, and reuse code for products, services, platforms, or features.
Break down larger work items into smaller tasks and provide estimates.
Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) in on-call rotations to monitor services and restore service for simple problems.
Stay current in relevant technologies and practices to improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.

Krav

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
OR equivalent experience.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
OR master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
OR equivalent experience.
Experience developing, testing, or operating distributed cloud services, platform infrastructure, or data-intensive systems.
Enthusiasm for building products in an AI-native way by applying generative AI, large language models, agentic workflows, and responsible AI practices to deliver intuitive, reliable, and measurable customer experiences.
