The EU INTech Delivery Experience team seeks a Software Development Manager in Bengaluru, Karnataka to lead a team of SDEs. Responsibilities include ownership of major team components, design, development, delivery, and support of software applications, and driving operational excellence. The role requires a leader passionate about solving ambiguous problems at a global scale.

Ansvarsområden

Own and deliver major components of the team.
Manage a team of SDEs and influence business direction and software development.
Drive high quality bar and operational excellence best practices.
Hire and develop an engineering team responsible for design, development, and operations.
Manage and mentor engineers, ensuring organizational health and career development.
Participate in strategic planning to achieve technical and business objectives.
Define technical direction and manage resource allocation between multiple engineering teams.
Lead design reviews and provide feedback on architecture, design, and operational issues.
Work with Business Stakeholders, Product leaders, Program Managers, and customers to deliver solutions.

Krav

Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations.
10+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience.
4+ years of engineering team management experience.
7+ years of engineering experience.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers.
Experience managing a team of high calibre Software Engineers developing complex, world class, scalable software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
