AWS OpenSearch is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for its Bangalore team to build and manage a world-class OpenSearch platform. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting scalable, high-performance search technologies, contributing to both open-source and managed services.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, develop, and support a world-class OpenSearch platform managing thousands of search domains.
  • Contribute to both open source code and managed service platform.
  • Work with senior engineers to deliver components of the entire stack.
  • Focus on scalability, performance, service robustness, and cost trade-offs in a cloud environment.
  • Apply scientific analysis and mathematical modeling to predict and evaluate designs and platform success.
  • Continuously explore, improve, enhance, automate, and optimize distributed systems and tools.
  • Work with a dedicated operations team to support 24x7 worldwide service operations.

Krav

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and existing systems).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
