Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for its AWS Compliance & Security Assurance team in Bengaluru. This role involves building and maintaining large-scale, high-availability, low-latency distributed systems to prevent prohibited transactions with denied entities, utilizing algorithms and machine learning. The engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of critical components ensuring Amazon's compliance and security.

Ansvarsområden

  • Building large-scale, high-availability, low-latency distributed systems.
  • Designing, implementing, testing, releasing, and maintaining high-complexity software.
  • Proposing, developing, and refining new and innovative solutions for production.
  • Being the end-to-end owner of critical components for Amazon's compliance.
  • Screening hundreds of millions of transactions daily.
  • Working with various Amazon businesses, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams.
  • Collaborating with experienced peers on critical tasks.

Krav

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and existing systems).
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
