Responsibilities
- Building large-scale, high-availability, low-latency distributed systems.
- Designing, implementing, testing, releasing, and maintaining high-complexity software.
- Proposing, developing, and refining new and innovative solutions for production.
- Being the end-to-end owner of critical components for Amazon's compliance.
- Screening hundreds of millions of transactions daily.
- Working with various Amazon businesses, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams.
- Collaborating with experienced peers on critical tasks.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and existing systems).
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
