AWS is seeking a Software Development Engineer for its Bangalore team to build search technologies for the Amazon OpenSearch Service. Ansvarsområden

  • Design, develop, and support a world-class OpenSearch Service managing thousands of search domains.
  • Focus on scalability, performance, service robustness, and cost trade-offs in a highly-virtualized, elastic, cloud-based environment.
  • Apply scientific analysis and mathematical modeling techniques to predict, measure, and evaluate designs and platform success.
  • Continuously explore, improve, enhance, automate, and optimize distributed systems and tools.
  • Work alongside a dedicated operations team for smooth 24x7 worldwide service operation.
  • Participate in setting the vision and objectives for Amazon OpenSearch Service.
  • Invent the future of search.
  • Mentor other SDEs and advise leadership on technical vision.

Krav

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling of new and existing systems).
  • 3+ years of experience with big data technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, Lucene/SOLR or Storm/Samza.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
