Medeco Security Locks is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk for their Salem, VA facility. The role involves processing product for shipment, organizing the shipping area, and potentially training other team members to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring basic computer skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ansvarsområden

  • Process incoming product for shipment via UPS, truck line, overnight, or other methods.
  • Organize product and shipping area, familiarizing oneself with changing needs.
  • Train team members on job tasks and serve as a liaison for shipping questions.
  • Work overtime as needed to maintain daily on-time delivery.
  • Maintain 5S standards and proactively improve safety.
  • Perform additional duties to ensure smooth product flow.
  • Adhere to all company standards, policies, and procedures.

Krav

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Mobility to move between workstations.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with good communication skills.
  • Heavy lifting – up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
