Responsibilities
- Process incoming product for shipment via UPS, truck line, overnight, or other methods.
- Organize product and shipping area, familiarizing oneself with changing needs.
- Train team members on job tasks and serve as a liaison for shipping questions.
- Work overtime as needed to maintain daily on-time delivery.
- Maintain 5S standards and proactively improve safety.
- Perform additional duties to ensure smooth product flow.
- Adhere to all company standards, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Mobility to move between workstations.
- Ability to work in a team environment with good communication skills.
- Heavy lifting – up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with various shipping methods (UPS, truck line, overnight).
