This full-time remote Service Technician role involves performing routine preventive service, troubleshooting, and repairing air compressors and related equipment. The position requires a customer-focused approach, basic understanding of mechanics and electrical theory, and the ability to use computers for work orders. The role is based in McDonough, GA, and offers a flexible benefits plan, 401(k) match, and paid training.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low-pressure blowers.
  • Pressure wash and effectively clean customer's entire equipment pad including skids, coolers, concrete, tanks, etc.
  • Communicate with the customer and Service Manager regarding all services performed and present repair options.
  • Fill out all service-related documentation, including service reports, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return documents.
  • Attend training at Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
  • Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment.
  • Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
  • Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with travel to customer locations.
  • Be subject to random drug testing.

Krav

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Fluent in English.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Ability to work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
  • Basic understanding of mechanics and electrical theory.
  • Ability to use computers to complete work orders.
  • Customer-focused and take ownership of meeting the customer's needs.
