Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low-pressure blowers.
- Pressure wash and effectively clean customer's entire equipment pad including skids, coolers, concrete, tanks, etc.
- Communicate with the customer and Service Manager regarding all services performed and present repair options.
- Fill out all service-related documentation, including service reports, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return documents.
- Attend training at Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
- Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment.
- Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
- Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with travel to customer locations.
- Be subject to random drug testing.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Fluent in English.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
- Basic understanding of mechanics and electrical theory.
- Ability to use computers to complete work orders.
- Customer-focused and take ownership of meeting the customer's needs.
