ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Service Technician in Jacksonville, Florida, to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors. Ansvarsområden

  • Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
  • Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
  • Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 110 pounds, climbing ladders, kneeling, driving and working in various positions.

Krav

  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
  • Must meet the minimum age requirement of 21.
  • Must be able to successfully obtain AAADM certification within twelve (12) months of employment and maintain certification as required.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.

  • Access control systems knowledge (a plus).
  • Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
