Responsibilities
- Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
- Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
- Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 110 pounds, climbing ladders, kneeling, driving and working in various positions.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
- Must meet the minimum age requirement of 21.
- Must be able to successfully obtain AAADM certification within twelve (12) months of employment and maintain certification as required.
- Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.
Desired Qualifications
- Access control systems knowledge (a plus).
- Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
