WeQuel seeks an experienced Senior UX Designer for a consulting role in Gothenburg. The position involves leading the design process for digital products, from research to implementation, with a focus on AI integration. This role offers the chance to work with leading companies in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.

Ansvarsområden

Lead UX design activities across complex digital products and services
Drive the end-to-end design process, from discovery and problem definition to detailed design and implementation
Conduct and guide user research, usability testing, and concept validation
Develop user journeys, information architecture, interaction flows, and prototypes
Translate user insights and business requirements into intuitive and scalable design solutions
Explore and apply AI-assisted tools and workflows to support ideation, research, prototyping, and design validation
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders
Facilitate workshops, design discussions, and stakeholder alignment
Contribute to the development and improvement of design systems and reusable design patterns
Design experiences across different devices, user groups, and digital touchpoints
Communicate design concepts, decisions, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
Support and mentor other designers through feedback, collaboration, and design reviews
Contribute to product direction and roadmap discussions from a user experience perspective

Krav

Approximately 5–8 years of professional experience in UX Design, Product Design, or a closely related discipline
A strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing complex digital products and user experiences
Experience leading design initiatives and contributing to product direction and design decisions
Strong skills in Interaction Design, Information Architecture, User Journeys, and Prototyping
Experience with user research, usability testing, and translating insights into design improvements
Experience working across the full design process, from discovery to implementation
Experience using AI tools and AI-assisted workflows within the design process
Experience with code-based or AI-assisted prototyping tools, such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar
Experience working with complex systems, multiple user groups, or cross-platform digital experiences
Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable collaborating with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders
Experience working in agile product development environments
Ability to balance user needs, technical possibilities, and business objectives
A structured, analytical, and user-centered approach to problem-solving
A relevant degree in HCI, Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
