- Investigate how radio communication can be adapted across different radio technologies, operating conditions and system requirements.
- Explore how software can adapt radio parameters based on current link conditions and application needs.
- Review and compare relevant long-range radio technologies.
- Analyze range, robustness, data rate, latency and energy consumption.
- Develop a flexible communication concept and demonstrator.
- Evaluate through simulations, laboratory tests and field measurements.
- Use of AI-assisted tools for implementation, testing and analysis.
- Provide recommendations for future development.
Krav
- Suitable for one student in the final stage of a master’s degree in Engineering Physics or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical background.
- Interest in applying physics and mathematics to engineering problems.
- Ability to combine theoretical analysis and modelling with simulations and practical experiments.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Experience with Electromagnetic fields and wave propagation.
- Experience with Signal processing and communication theory.
- Experience with Modulation and digital communication.
- Experience with RF technology, antennas and measurements.
- Experience with Embedded or software-defined radio systems.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python or similar analysis tools.
