We are seeking an experienced Python Automation Engineer with strong Python development, automation scripting, and Unix/Linux administration expertise to support enterprise storage and infrastructure environments. The role focuses on developing automation solutions, monitoring frameworks, operational tooling, and supporting storage-related platforms while ensuring compliance, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop and maintain Python-based automation solutions for infrastructure and storage operations.
  • Create and support automation scripts, execution packages, JCLs, monitoring tools, and operational workflows.
  • Maintain technical documentation for all deliverables, automation solutions, and operational procedures.
  • Support and maintain High Availability (HA) HSM environments across Production and Practice environments.
  • Implement and support automated storage pool monitoring and corrective actions for Production and Practice environments.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain RFB and IVP activities for storage, disk, and tape solutions.
  • Archive and maintain audit and compliance evidence in NFS-based long-term storage repositories.
  • Install, manage, and support storage-related certificates through the CLMUI tool.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards with key storage, capacity, availability, and operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, storage, and operations teams to improve service reliability and automation capabilities.

Krav

  • Strong expertise in Python development and automation scripting.
  • 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
  • Strong Unix/Linux administration experience.
  • Experience with Git and source code management.
  • Experience using Jenkins for CI/CD and automation.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and operational automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • REXX programming experience.
  • JCL development and batch processing knowledge.
  • Experience supporting enterprise storage environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within global teams.
  • Strong documentation and technical writing capabilities.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
