Microsoft is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Azure Bot Service team, focusing on routing millions of messages and powering conversational AI. The role involves technical leadership in AI, building features, operating services, and coaching engineers. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 4+ years of experience is required.

Ansvarsområden

Collaborates with stakeholders to determine user requirements.
Drives design documentation and dependency identification.
Builds, optimizes, debugs, refactors, and maintains high-quality code.
Designs and runs experiments to evaluate effectiveness of changes.
Partners with PMs to deliver project and release plans.
Acts as DRI and participates in on-call rotations.
Proactively adopts new technologies to improve reliability, performance, and observability.

Krav

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
Microsoft Cloud Background Check required upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
OR equivalent experience.
Experience building generative AI applications or services.
Experience with the Power Platform or M365 Enterprise development.
