Amazon is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Technical for its Kindle Content Experience team in Chennai, India. This role involves defining and executing a product roadmap to enhance the reading experience for millions of customers on Kindle devices and applications by partnering with publishers and authors. The position requires strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Ansvarsområden

  • Assist in driving and delivering the best content experience on all Kindle surfaces.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, research, etc.) across Amazon and Books to deliver projects on time.
  • Support in defining strategic, creative, high quality product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis.
  • Learn from customer feedback, behavioral measurements, and other data sources to craft better experiences and ensure we are building the right features over time.
  • Role is global in nature and will work with teams in other countries.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
  • 5+ years of professional experience with 2+ years of consumer/enterprise facing product management experience.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines.
  • Experience coordinating product development cycles and software development schedules.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • MBA
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field from a top university.
  • Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment.
  • Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Prior experience working in a software engineering discipline.
  • Passion for reading.
