Responsibilities
- Assist in driving and delivering the best content experience on all Kindle surfaces.
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, research, etc.) across Amazon and Books to deliver projects on time.
- Support in defining strategic, creative, high quality product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis.
- Learn from customer feedback, behavioral measurements, and other data sources to craft better experiences and ensure we are building the right features over time.
- Role is global in nature and will work with teams in other countries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
- 5+ years of professional experience with 2+ years of consumer/enterprise facing product management experience.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines.
- Experience coordinating product development cycles and software development schedules.
Desired Qualifications
- MBA
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field from a top university.
- Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment.
- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering.
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
- Prior experience working in a software engineering discipline.
- Passion for reading.
