Lead end-to-end application modernization and cloud migration to AWS. Responsibilities include application assessment, strategy definition, architecture design, migration execution, and coordination across technical teams. Requires strong experience in AWS, Java, microservices, and DevOps practices.

Ansvarsområden

Lead application and infrastructure assessments to determine appropriate modernization strategies.
Define modernization roadmaps, migration waves, and technical dependencies.
Lead migration of enterprise applications and workloads to AWS.
Review Java/enterprise application architecture and identify modernization opportunities.
Coordinate across Cloud Architects, Application/Java SMEs, Tools SMEs, Integration SMEs, DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Testing teams.
Develop and govern migration plans covering infrastructure, applications, integrations, data, testing, cutover, rollback, and stabilization.
Drive CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and DevOps practices.
Manage application dependencies, APIs, databases, networking, authentication, and external integrations.
Ensure cloud solutions meet architecture, security, scalability, resilience, and operational requirements.
Manage technical risks, blockers, dependencies, design decisions, and escalations.
Lead post-migration stabilization, performance monitoring, optimization, and transition to operations.

Krav

Strong experience in AWS cloud migration and application modernization.
Strong understanding of Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, databases, and enterprise application architecture.
Knowledge of key AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and load balancing.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform/CloudFormation, and DevOps practices.
Experience with application discovery, dependency assessment, migration planning, cutover, and production stabilization.
Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and cross-team coordination skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
