Volvo Buses is looking for a Group Manager Vehicle Control to lead the Electrical and Software Architecture department. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, a coaching approach, and a technical background in electrical and electronics engineering.

Ansvarsområden

Develop the group, technology, and people to support future needs and Volvo Buses' profitability.
Define, communicate, and execute strategies and targets for the group.
Own the technology area and deliver technical solutions for concept, industrialization, maintenance, and advanced engineering projects.
Prioritize and set direction for short- and long-term activities.
Build a broad network within and outside of the Volvo Group.
Manage a team with broad responsibilities and cross-functional work across departments, cultures, and competence areas.

Krav

Previous leader experience with the ability to recruit and develop efficient teams.
Business oriented with a clear customer focus, preferably from automotive.
Technical knowledge within the electrical and electronics area.
University degree in engineering or equivalent.
Structured, inclusive, collaborative, and team-oriented leader.
High customer focus.
Curious and continuously searching for new knowledge by promoting continuous learning and improvement.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global environment with various cultures and languages.
