Ansvarsområden
- Create, implement, and maintain environmental protection activities and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all Volvo and State, Local and Federal Environmental Regulatory requirements.
- Perform regulatory reporting activities to various local, state, and federal agencies.
- Oversee the facilities waste contractor ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and cost efficiency.
- Support plant environmental champions and provide guidance on environmental regulatory requirements.
- Perform audits to ensure compliance throughout the facility.
- Engage in continuous education on regulatory requirements.
- Perform environmental training for employees.
Krav
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field (experience may be substituted).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an environmental role in an automotive, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to utilize a PC to communicate, track trends, and retrieve relevant information.
- Ability to speak credibly to authorities, environmental organizations, and/or other public groups.

- Preferred certified Lead Auditor - ISO 14001.
- Knowledge of auto industry or similar manufacturing industry.
