Vattenfall seeks a Senior Development Manager for Transport & Installation Engineering to support offshore wind projects. This role involves leading T&I concepts, managing CAPEX budgets, and driving new methodologies. The position requires an engineering degree, minimum 10 years of relevant offshore experience, and strong technical and commercial acumen.
Ansvarsområden
- Lead and drive Transport and Installation concepts across all installation packages as a support to Technical Project Managers.
- Create suitable T&I set-up for development projects, including CAPEX budget and documentation, from early development (TG0) to handover (TG2).
- Lead building block development and maintenance with an aim for automation to decrease reaction time.
- Pro-actively discuss new methodologies with suppliers to facilitate Vattenfall's offshore wind project pipeline.
- Actively drive interfaces of the Transportation & Installation Engineering department towards stakeholders.
- Contribute to a collaborative work environment, supporting the resolution of technical and resource-related issues.
- Support Installation Engineers in execution, O&M, or decommissioning projects with expertise on methodologies, lessons learned, and concepts for cost-efficient project execution.
Krav
- Engineering degree and experience in offshore Transport and Installation, preferably across multiple disciplines (Foundation, Cables, WTGs, Hydrogen).
- Minimum 10 years relevant work experience.
- Competences preferably gained in highly regulated industries (e.g., offshore, renewables, oil and gas, chemical industry).
- Experience with offshore wind Transport and Installation methodologies focusing on the transmission scope.
- Experience with execution of Transport and Installation projects for TSOs or similar, including setting targets, development planning, and quantifying risks.
- Strong technical understanding with the ability to resolve detail issues and convey complex technical matters and risk costing coherently.
- A positive mindset with strong self-motivation and resilience.
- A flexible and proactive approach to find solutions.
- Comfortable simultaneously managing several tasks to often challenging deadlines.

Önskade kvalifikationer
- Knowledge about offshore installation vessels, installation tools and methodologies, and relevant offshore codes and standards is of advantage.
- Experience at an offshore Installation Contractor is highly appreciated.
- Experience in Substation and Cable Installation projects with a strong focus on technology is a key asset for this position.
