The Senior Business Specialist, working as a Business Analyst in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. This role focuses on defining requirements, supporting Agile delivery, and ensuring successful implementation of digital solutions using technologies like Angular, Azure, and .NET.

Ansvarsområden

Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technology teams.
Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, functional requirements, nonfunctional requirements, user stories, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
Break down business problems into clear, actionable requirements for Angular, Azure, .NET, QA, UX, and data teams.
Partner with Product Owners to support backlog refinement, prioritization, dependency identification, sprint readiness, and release planning.
Facilitate requirement walkthroughs, stakeholder reviews, and clarification sessions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical constraints, integration points, data flows, APIs, cloud dependencies, and system behavior.
Support QA teams by reviewing test scenarios, clarifying expected behavior, validating acceptance criteria, and assisting with defect triage.
Coordinate and support user acceptance testing.
Analyze current-state processes and recommend improvements.
Create clear documentation including business process flows, requirement traceability, feature notes, meeting summaries, decision logs, and release-support materials.
Collaborate across business, product, engineering, QA, data, operations, and support teams.

Krav

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting digital products or technology delivery teams.
Strong experience gathering and documenting requirements, writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, mapping workflows, and supporting Agile delivery.
Working knowledge of web application delivery and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams working on Angular front-end, .NET back-end, APIs, databases, and Azure cloud services.
Ability to analyze business processes, identify gaps, clarify ambiguity, and translate business needs into clear documentation for technical teams.
Experience supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT, defect triage, release readiness, and stakeholder communication.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Basic understanding of Angular concepts such as components, user interface behavior, front-end validation, routing, and API/service interactions.
Basic understanding of .NET application architecture, APIs, backend services, business logic, and integration patterns.
Working knowledge of Azure services such as Azure DevOps, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, storage, monitoring, or cloud-based deployments.
Familiarity with Agile tools and delivery practices, including Azure DevOps Boards, user stories, features, tasks, bugs, acceptance criteria, and sprint ceremonies.
Experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated environments is preferred.
Exposure to SQL, data analysis, reporting tools, dashboards, or data validation is a plus.
