Senior Administrator responsible for managing software assets and licenses, ensuring compliance, and optimizing utilization. This role involves daily operational SAM activities, data analysis, stakeholder coordination, and contributing to IT risk management and cost reduction initiatives.

Ansvarsområden

Analyze software asset/license data and investigate variances.
Monitor software license procurement vs. deployment and ensure compliance.
Conduct detailed analytics of contracts, usage, and deployment data.
Manage business software licensing and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
Produce timely KPI's/Management Dashboards and achieve target levels.
Identify and implement automation and simplification opportunities.
Manage request queue/tickets and meet agreed upon SLAs.
Coordinate with stakeholders on license deployment/consumption.
Create and maintain ELP compliance reports.
Perform administrative tasks, maintain information files, and update documentation.
Manage maintenance/subscription renewals, purchase requests, and procurement processes.
Conduct governance and incorporate SAM standards and policies.
Manage IT Risk and contribute to cost reduction initiatives.
Collaborate with Procurement teams, Publisher reps, and license managers.
Refine, maintain, and adhere to policies, processes, and best practices for IT Asset Management.
Ensure adherence to legal and statutory requirements for IT asset usage.
Ensure optimal utilization of software assets.
Manage internal software transfers and usage.
Review and validate software requests from availability and IT infrastructure perspectives.
Advise and coordinate with BLs’ SPOCs on software requirements.
Investigate and clarify contracts and license policies with software publishers.
Utilize AI tools like Copilot for automation and acceleration in BAU activities.
Perform periodic review and control procedures to ensure process compliance.
Ensure vendor contracts are maintained, tracked, and renewed on time.
Understand and utilize discovery and inventory tools like SCCM, ILMT, INTUNE.

Krav

Bachelor’s degree (BE / B.Tech, B.Sc) or 3-year technical Diploma.
3 to 5 years of Software Asset Management experience.
Knowledge of ServiceNow (SAM Pro).
Knowledge of ILMT.
Good knowledge on Microsoft licensing.
Basic knowledge on IBM & Oracle licensing.
Understanding of business software licenses.
KPI management and tracking.
License compliance Management.
Good hands-on experience in advanced Excel.
Ability to confidently present SAM reports.
Ability to work independently.
Good stakeholder management skill.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Basics of Flexera tool skill is an added advantage.
Knowledge of AI tools like Copilot to achieve automation and acceleration in BAU activities.
