Responsible for analyzing software asset/license data, ensuring variances are investigated, and taking timely action for organizational monitoring and control. This role involves daily operational SAM activities, license compliance monitoring, and managing IT risk to contribute to cost reduction initiatives.

Ansvarsområden

Analyze software asset/license data and investigate variances.
Perform daily operational SAM activities including license procurement vs. deployment tracking.
Monitor license compliance and conduct analytics of contracts, usage, and deployment data.
Manage business software licensing and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
Produce KPI dashboards and identify opportunities for automation and simplification.
Manage request queues/tickets and meet SLAs.
Create ELP compliance reports and maintain documentation.
Oversee maintenance/subscription renewals and purchase request processes.
Conduct governance and incorporate SAM standards and policies.
Manage IT risk and contribute to cost reduction initiatives.
Work with procurement teams, publisher representatives, and license managers.
Refine and adhere to policies, processes, and best practices for IT asset management.
Ensure adherence to legal and statutory requirements for IT asset usage.
Ensure optimal utilization of software assets and manage internal transfers/usage.
Review and validate software requests.
Provide advice to business units on software requirements.
Investigate and clarify contracts and license policies with software publishers.
Utilize AI tools like Copilot for automation and acceleration.
Ensure periodic review and control procedures for process compliance.
Maintain, track, and renew vendor contracts on time.
Understand discovery and inventory tools like SCCM, ILMT, INTUNE.

Krav

Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech, B.Sc) or 3-year technical diploma.
3 to 5 years of Software Asset Management experience.
Knowledge of ServiceNow (SAM Pro).
Knowledge of ILMT.
Good knowledge on Microsoft licensing.
Basic knowledge on IBM & Oracle licensing, including business software licenses.
KPI management and tracking.
License compliance management.
Good hands-on experience in advanced Excel.
Ability to confidently present SAM reports.
Ability to work independently.
Good stakeholder management skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Basics of Flexera tool skill is an added advantage.
Knowledge of AI tools like copilot to achieve automation and acceleration in BAU activities.
