Ansvarsområden
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries with precision and attention to detail.
- Assist in the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Analyse and reconcile balance sheet accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
- Assist the Sales team with item pricing, order entry, invoice coding and invoice reconciliation.
- Manage Fixed Assets and Leases to ensure proper accounting treatment.
- Prepare and analyse sales and tax returns, ensuring compliance.
- Contribute to special projects as an active team member, offering financial expertise.
- Support Accounts Payable activities and collaborate with team members on financial tasks.
- Assess and recommend improvements to day-to-day procedures and controls.
- Respond promptly to ad hoc requests for information and reports.
- Thrive in a team environment, working collaboratively to achieve common goals.
- Demonstrate commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Krav
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- 5+ years of professional work experience supporting financial and accounting initiatives.
- Strong technical acumen using MS Excel: v-lookups, pivots, and macros.
- Proficiency in working with different systems to retrieve and analyse data.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with business partners.
- Limited travel with a potential of up to 5% if necessary (domestic).
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Experience with Power BI, Business Objects, JD Edwards, Oracle SmartView/Hyperion and/or OneStream preferred.
- Solid foundation in accounting and motivation to grow with a global organization.
- Exposure to a multi-divisional or multi-plant manufacturing setting preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting principles in accordance with GAAP.
