The Segment Supplier Quality Engineer at Autoliv Tijuana is responsible for ensuring high-quality parts from external suppliers through robust process development and issue resolution. This role involves managing supplier qualifications, production line reviews, and PPAP/PSW approvals, collaborating with internal teams to achieve successful component launches.

Ansvarsområden

  • Work with external suppliers to develop robust processes and deliver high-quality parts.
  • Involve in pre-qualification of suppliers through successful launch of components.
  • Verify suppliers' use of industry standards and Autoliv Standards.
  • Review suppliers' agreed production lines/practices.
  • Follow-up on non-conforming materials and events to closure.
  • Work with internal teams (Project Launch, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality) to plan quality events and resolve issues.
  • Manage PPAP/PSW approvals for external suppliers.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
  • English speaking/writing is required.
  • Automotive industry and/or engineering experience.
  • Problem solving experience.
  • Lean and Six sigma expertise.
