This part-time Sales Co-worker role in the IKEA Self Serve Warehouse & Outdoor department involves customer service, active selling, and stock handling in a physically active retail environment. Ansvarsområden

  • Serve customers by understanding their needs, providing product advice, supporting delivery orders, and actively selling the IKEA range.
  • Prepare, replenish, and condense stock to ensure products are available and presented correctly for customers.
  • Move pallets and handle stock safely using approved lifting techniques and mechanical aids.
  • Maintain the Outdoor and Self Serve Warehouse areas to ensure they are safe, tidy, fully stocked, and ready for trade.
  • Process customer returns, check for damages, and return saleable products to stock.
  • Work closely with your team and other departments to build an inclusive, collaborative environment.

Krav

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, warehousing, logistics, trade, hardware or other physically active environments.
  • Passion for creating a positive customer experience and helping customers find the right products and services.
  • Confident engaging with customers, preparing delivery orders, and actively selling IKEA products and services.
  • Physically capable of repetitive manual handling, able to stand for up to 8-hours per-shift and walk approximately 15,000 steps, and moving stock using mechanical aids.
  • Comfortable using computers, handheld devices, and digital systems to complete daily operational tasks.
  • A strong team player who can work independently while contributing to a collaborative environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain safe, organised, and well-stocked sales and warehouse areas.
  • Interested in developing your retail career, with the ambition to take on additional responsibilities and future leadership opportunities.
