Ericsson Inc. seeks an RMA Technician II for a full-time, on-site role in Nampa, Idaho. The position involves processing, evaluating, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing customer-returned hardware, ensuring quality and identifying recurring issues. The technician will also contribute to continuous improvement and act as a resource for less experienced colleagues.

Ansvarsområden

  • Receive, inspect, and route returned products; perform bulk processing, labeling, packing, and inventory transactions
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot customer-returned hardware using hand tools, test equipment, and approved diagnostic methods
  • Test, verify, and rework products to production-level quality and specifications
  • Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate, traceable RMA inventory records
  • Identify defects, recurring issues, and process gaps; escalate safety or operational concerns as needed
  • Create failure-analysis records and document symptoms, test results, repair actions, and dispositions clearly
  • Work with Vendors to coordinate repair and refurbishment of devices.
  • Contribute to process documentation, continuous improvement activities, and operator training
  • Follow occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements, 5S practices, and applicable material-handling standards

Krav

  • High school diploma, technical training, or equivalent practical experience in a production, repair, warehouse, or operations environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in RMA receiving, bulk processing, product test, device analysis, and system transactions
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronics or hardware using a structured approach and escalate when needed
  • Experience creating or maintaining process documents, work instructions, or training materials; an eye for clarity and consistency.
  • Ability to train or guide peers on standardized processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable tools; ability to type at least 30 words per minute
  • Ability to lift and maneuver items up to 35 pounds, with reasonable accommodation where applicable

  • Associate degree or technical training in electronics, manufacturing, or logistics
  • Experience with CRM/ERP systems
  • Exposure to Six Sigma, 5S, or root-cause analysis methods
