Emerson seeks a Quality Technician for their Distribution Center in Olive Branch, MS. This role involves performing detailed product inspections, upholding quality standards, and investigating customer complaints using RCCA methods. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a Quality role, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and forklift certification.

Ansvarsområden

Oversee inspection area including West Dock, Rebox, and MRB Tag areas.
Perform quality assurance checks to ensure products meet company standards.
Handle return logistics by inspecting return parcels to determine restock eligibility.
Conduct quality assurance observations of new hires and power equipment operators.
Investigate customer complaints using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methods.
Apply mechanical aptitude to perform inspections and troubleshoot product issues.
Manage and respond to quality alerts by performing detailed checks on flagged products.

Krav

A minimum of 2 Years’ experience in Quality role.
Proven experience in quality inspection or a similar role.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, and Excel.
Ability to multitask and work independently with strong attention to detail and follow-up.
2 years forklift experience or valid forklift certification.
Must have strong attention to detail.
Must possess problem solving skills.
Must work with a keen sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, push and pull for shift all product/carton weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Önskade kvalifikationer

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a Warehouse Management System (WMS) environment (Oracle preferred).
Experience working in distribution setting.
