Ansvarsområden

Conduct feasibility studies for requested tests and prepare test samples as per defined procedures.
Arrange appropriate measurement equipment and tools, and make equipment/test setups ready for testing.
Define and maintain testing procedures, workflow, and record maintenance.
Prepare test reports and communicate them to the test requestor/supervisor.
Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance of test equipment and coordinate with suppliers/service providers.
Establish and maintain 5S & safety at the workplace, following best practices.
Conduct testing activities as per approved Testing Procedure Manuals and work instructions.
Monitor lab environmental conditions and ensure compliance.
Handle test samples and materials with traceability.
Support continuous improvement, innovation programs, and effective resolution of customer complaints.
Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Support compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 based laboratory quality management systems.
Participate in internal/external agency audits and corrective action implementations.
Ensure laboratory equipment remains fit for intended use and stop testing if quality criteria are not met.
Maintain all technical records related to testing, equipment, calibration, maintenance, and laboratory operations.
Coordinate with internal and external suppliers for prompt and cost-effective services.
Track supplier performance and ensure timely resolution of service-related issues.

Krav

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
4 to 6 years of experience in product testing in testing laboratories or engineering / R&D departments.
Knowledge of environmental chambers, temperature test, mechanical tests, impact/IP tests, endurance tests, etc.
Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 standard, other applicable product standards, and different lab accreditations.
Background of equipment maintenance activity and vendor interaction.
Strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills, and team working ability.
Understanding of quality management systems and laboratory practices.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to coordinate with suppliers and service providers.
Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
Familiarity with MS Office and maintenance record systems.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Relevant certification in maintenance, calibration, or laboratory management is preferred.
Knowledge of working on AUTO CAD will be an additional advantage.
