ABB is seeking a Quality Specialist in Bangalore, India, to assist local units in developing capabilities for controlling products and systems, ensuring compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements. Responsibilities include conducting test protocols, supporting quality control, maintaining the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, and collaborating on problem resolution and root cause analysis.

Ansvarsområden

Assist local unit in developing capabilities to effectively control products and systems.
Ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements.
Participate in the development and implementation of standards and test methods.
Collaborate in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Conduct test protocols to ensure products, systems, or software meet specified requirements and customer expectations.
Support quality control needs for supplier quality, production quality, testing, and validation.
Execute and assist specific quality-related training.
Collect, record, and evaluate data according to ABB specifications, customer norms, and applicable standards.
Collaborate to resolve problems and ensure robust root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to team collaboration objectives.
Demonstrate understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) concepts, reporting, and risks.

Krav

Highly skilled in Quality Management Systems (QMS), quality tools, and manufacturing processes.
Strong understanding of industry best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
5+ years of experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or Operational Excellence within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with ISO 9001 implementation and maintenance.
Advanced knowledge of quality management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to leverage digital solutions to improve quality performance.
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to engage colleagues across all organizational levels.
