ABB is seeking a Quality & Operational Excellence Manager to deploy and lead the quality strategy for a local unit. This hybrid role requires a strong understanding of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies to drive sustainable operations and exceed customer expectations. The position involves influencing management, coordinating quality efforts, and coaching teams to achieve world-class performance.

Ansvarsområden

Deploy and lead the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and teams.
Drive the local quality system through prevention, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and sustainable solutions.
Coordinate efforts of local functions to achieve quality targets and aim for world-class performance.
Ensure necessary certification requirements are met throughout the organization.
Influence and consult with management to shape the design and development of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
Ensure appropriate internal and external communication relevant to the quality management system.
Implement short, medium, and long-term strategy for the quality management system.
Establish a closed-loop quality cycle from initial customer engagement to final product or service delivery.
Work with Sales to monitor customer requirements, expectations, and leading quality indicators.
Coach teams or individuals to improve core business processes (Sales, Tendering, Invoicing, etc.).
Support and review complex investigations to assure root cause is determined and corrective and preventive actions are raised.

Krav

Minimum 5 years' experience leading or supporting Quality Management Systems (QMS) within a highly regulated environment (technology, manufacturing, repair, or service operations).
Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC methodologies.
Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to analyse, trend, and present quality data to support strategic decision-making and proactive quality improvement.
Experience leading or supporting complex investigations, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Strong coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
Australian Citizenship required.
