ABB is looking for a Quality Manager in Hackettstown, New Jersey, to establish and maintain a quality culture within the Electrification Installation Products division. This full-time, on-site role involves controlling quality through systems, tools, and teams to exceed customer expectations and ensure sustainable operations, reporting to the Plant General Manager.

Ansvarsområden

  • Maintain and continuously improve a Quality organization structure capable of supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Provide Quality interface and expertise between operations and customers to ensure needs and expectations are met.
  • Lead operations initiatives in the development, implementation, and improvement of Quality Management Systems.
  • Lead the internal Quality System Audit program and manage the corrective action system.
  • Analyze key organizational quality metrics and perform periodical reviews to evaluate results and establish action plans.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in a complex, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • At least 3 years of Quality team leadership experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Strong ability to collaborate closely with peer members of the leadership team.
  • Candidates must have work authorization for ABB in the US.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Direct experience in obtaining and maintaining ISO 9001:2015 Standard Certification is highly desirable.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus.
  • ISO 9001 QMS Lead Auditor Certification.
  • NQA-1 Lead Auditor Certification.
  • IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-J-STD-001 Certification.
  • ASQ CQE or CQM is preferred.
